About Levart
What is Levart?
Levart is travel agency management software made for Indian tour, travel and car rental businesses. It handles on-call and monthly fixed-vehicle trips, digital duty slips and driver logsheets, GST invoices, supplier and staff payments, reports, and a login for your corporate clients.
Who is Levart for?
Travel agencies and car rental operators that provide cars with drivers — to corporate clients on monthly contracts, and for one-off on-call and outstation trips — whether they use their own vehicles, suppliers' vehicles or both.
Is Levart built for Indian travel agencies?
Yes. Amounts are in rupees, invoices carry your GSTIN, PAN and SAC code, GST is split into CGST and SGST or charged as IGST depending on the client's state, and reverse charge and TDS are supported. The packages and charges match how Indian agencies bill: 8 hours / 80 km, extra kilometres and hours, night halt, driver allowance, tolls and parking.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Levart runs in the browser on a computer or a phone, and can be added to a phone's home screen like an app. Drivers use the duty slip and logsheet apps in their phone's browser too.
Can I use Levart on my phone?
Yes. The whole console switches to a phone layout with tabs along the bottom, lists as cards and the save button always on screen. Add it to your home screen and it opens full screen.
Can I use my suppliers' vehicles as well as my own?
Yes. Any trip can use your own car or a supplier's. Levart prices the trip for your client from your package and works out what you owe the supplier from theirs, so you see the margin on every trip.
Can my clients see who my suppliers are?
No. The client portal shows a client their vehicles, trips and invoices. It never shows who supplied a vehicle or what you pay them.
How does Levart bill a monthly fixed-vehicle contract?
You set up the contract once with its vehicles, packages and rules. At month-end Levart adds up each vehicle's trips, compares the kilometres and hours with what the package includes, charges the excess at your rates, applies the contract's tolls, allowances, GST and TDS rules, and raises the invoice.
Can I print invoices on my existing letterhead paper?
Yes. Either Levart prints a letterhead built from your profile, or you switch to pre-printed mode and set how much space your paper's header and footer take, and the invoice prints into the blank area.
Can I bring my existing data over from Excel?
Yes. Clients, suppliers, staff, vehicles and packages can be imported from a spreadsheet, and a month of paper logsheets can be typed or pasted into the bulk-add grid.
How is Levart priced?
By the number of active vehicles in a month — a vehicle on an active contract or one that ran at least one trip. Never per trip and never per booking. Plans start at ₹2,499 a month, excluding GST.
How do I get started with Levart?
Book a demo or sign up on the website and we'll set up your agency's workspace. When you first sign in, a checklist on the dashboard walks you through your profile, GST settings, bank details, rate packages, vehicles and clients before your first trip.
On-call trips
How is an outstation trip billed in Levart?
The package's daily base rate is multiplied by the number of days, and the included kilometres and hours are pooled across those days. Only the kilometres and hours over the pooled allowance are charged as extras.
Can I use supplier vehicles for on-call trips?
Yes. Choose 'Supplier' as the vehicle source, pick the supplier and their package. The supplier fills in the car and driver through the duty slip link, and what you owe them is worked out from their package.
Can I add old trips that already happened?
Yes. Enter the trip with its odometer readings and end time and use 'Save as completed trip'. It's priced immediately and no duty slip is sent.
Digital duty slip
Do drivers need to install anything to fill a duty slip?
No. The duty slip is a link that opens in the phone's browser. It works on any smartphone.
What does the driver record on the duty slip?
The opening and closing kilometres with a photo of the odometer each time, tolls and parking, and the customer's signature. For supplier trips, the supplier first adds the vehicle and driver details.
What happens if a duty slip link is shared with the wrong person?
Issue a fresh link from the trip. The old link stops working straight away.
Driver logsheet app
How does a driver log in to the logsheet app?
With the vehicle's registration number and the four-digit logger code set on the client's contract. There are no driver accounts or passwords to manage.
Can I still enter logsheets by hand?
Yes. Add trips one at a time, or paste a whole month's paper logsheet into the bulk-add grid.
Monthly fixed contracts
How are extra kilometres calculated on a monthly contract?
Each vehicle's kilometres for the month are compared with what its package includes, and the excess is billed at the package's extra-KM rate. If the contract pools kilometres, all vehicles are added together against the combined allowance instead.
Can one contract produce separate invoices for different departments?
Yes. Add officers (department heads) to the contract and assign vehicles to them; each officer gets their own invoice, with their own billing mode if needed.
Does Levart support fortnightly billing?
Yes. A contract can bill by calendar month, by month from its start date, or fortnightly — two invoices a month.
GST invoicing
What SAC code is used for cab and car rental invoices?
Rental of a motor vehicle with an operator (driver) falls under SAC 996601. Levart prints the SAC code you set on every invoice; check the right code and GST rate for your services with your accountant.
When is CGST and SGST charged instead of IGST?
When the client's state is the same as your agency's home state, the tax is split into CGST and SGST. For a client in another state, IGST is charged. Levart works this out from the client's state on each invoice.
Can I print invoices on my existing letterhead paper?
Yes. Choose pre-printed letterhead in your profile and set the height of your paper's header and footer. Levart leaves that space blank on every page.
Supplier & staff payments
How does Levart calculate what I owe a supplier?
From the trips their vehicles ran for you that month: on-call trips at the supplier's package rate, substitute vehicles they provided, and contract vehicles they own, plus any tolls, parking or allowances you marked to pay back.
Can I recover a driver's advance from their salary?
Yes. When you pay a staff member in Staff Payments you can recover part or all of an outstanding advance in the same payment.
Fleet & documents
Can Levart remind me before vehicle insurance or permits expire?
Yes. Add the document to the vehicle with its expiry date and how many days ahead you want warning. A banner shows across the console until it's renewed.
Can I manage attached (supplier) vehicles as well as my own?
Yes. A vehicle can be owned or belong to a supplier, and supplier vehicles can run on contracts or on-call trips. What you owe the supplier is worked out from their package.
Packages & rate cards
What is an 8 hours / 80 km package?
A local package where the base fare covers up to 8 hours and 80 kilometres. Anything beyond is charged per extra hour and per extra kilometre at the package's rates.
Can I give one client a different rate?
Yes. Create a package for that client. It's offered only on that client's trips and contracts.
Reports & GST
Does Levart give me a GST report for filing?
Yes. The GST report lists each invoice with the client's GSTIN, taxable value and CGST, SGST or IGST, by invoice date, with credit notes shown separately. You can download it for your accountant.
How is the outstanding amount aged?
From each invoice's due date, which comes from the contract's credit period. The report groups balances into overdue, 31–60 days late and over 60 days late.
Team & permissions
Can I stop staff from seeing supplier payments?
Yes. Supplier payments is its own permission, separate from client payments and staff payments. Leave it off for roles that shouldn't see it.
Works on your phone
Is there a Levart mobile app?
The Levart console works on any phone's browser and can be added to your home screen, where it opens full screen like an installed app. Drivers use the duty slip and logsheet apps, which also run in the phone's browser.
Guided setup & help
How long does it take to set up Levart?
Most of it is entering what you already have: your profile and bank details, your rate packages, vehicles and clients. The checklist shows what's left, and the Excel import on each list saves typing.
